I regularly work with schools, 4-H, and community groups to design custom programs on pollinators and pollination. These typically include brief lectures combined with workshops in pollinator identification, hands-on activities to learn more about pollination ecology, and a field component.

This can happen in a pandemic, too! In November 2020 I joined the Orion Lakes school district’s first grade classes for a program on pollinators and pollination. We kicked it off with a recorded conversation with the district STEM coordinator, and followed up with hands-on activities and classroom visits, even though the district was all-virtual at that time. See the video below!

As in-person activities resume, I’m also delighted to visit your site.

If you or a group you collaborate with is interested in working with me to bring a program to you, please contact me.
